Kings Cross Station

The Hogwarts Express departs from Kings Cross, so it has appeared in every Harry Potter film. See platform 4 and 5 which were used for filming and take a photo pushing a trolley through to a magical world at the wall marked Platform 9 ¾. Plus, visit the Harry Potter shop, built to resemble Ollivander's Wand Shop.

St Pancras Station

The Neo-Gothic exterior of St Pancras International Station was used as the train station where Harry boards the Hogwarts Express. Harry and Ron park the Weasley's Ford Anglia in the corner of the courtyard during the Chamber of Secrets and later fly off over the station; you may recognise the clock tower from this flight scene.

Leadenhall Market

Leadenhall is a covered Victorian market in theCity of London. Home to a selection of stalls, shops and restaurants, it features in several Potter films. It's used for Diagon Alley in The Philosopher's Stone; sharp-eyed fans will recognise the blue door of the Opticians in Bull's Head Passage as the entrance to The Leaky Cauldron.

Reptile House at London Zoo

Find out if you have Harry Potter's gift of Parseltongue (being able to talk to serpents) at ZSL London Zoo. The Reptile House is home to the biggest and most venomous snakes on earth, including a Black Mamba, as well as lizards, frogs and crocodiles. It is here that a Burmese python speaks to Harry for the first time.

Tower Bridge

In the Order of the Phoenix, Harry flies along the Thames and over Tower Bridge on his broomstick. Millennium Bridge also features in a dramatic opening scene when it is destroyed by death eaters and Lambeth Bridge is where the Knight bus squeezes between two double deckers.

Piccadilly Circus

At Piccadilly Circus you can literally walk in the footsteps of the three main characters. It is here that Harry, Ron and Hermione run through the streets of Central London during Deathly Hallows Part 1 when they flee the wedding of Ron's older brother after learning Death Eaters are on their tails.

Westminster Tube Station

This tube station was one of the main locations used by Harry when travelling in The Order of the Phoenix. Accompanied by Arthur Weasley, he uses the underground to attend a disciplinary hearing at the Ministry of Magic. Westminster Tube is close to several top attractions, and had to be closed for a whole day during filming.
